RailRoad Class 47/7 RES 47749 'Atlantic College' Diesel Locomotive

This OO gauge model locomotive represents a Class 47 example that emerged from Crewe Works in February 1965 as D1660.Ā
It was allocated to Swanseaās Landore MPD, before being named āCity of Truroā at Truro station in June that year. It became 47076 under TOPs, then was reclassified as a 47/4 in November 1984, when it became 47625. In the 1990s, it became part of the RES pool for operating mail and parcels trains and, in November 1995, was modified to 47/7b, with longer-range fuel tanks and equipment for operating with a propelling control vehicle (PCV). It was given the number 47749 and named āAtlantic Collegeā.
